Welcome to our office! Orthodontic treatment can be one of the most positive things individuals can do for themselves, to improve both their self-image and the health of their mouth. Unlike most other dental procedures, our treatment plan may require 12–24 months to complete. To help us provide the best result that we can, my team and I would like for you to become familiar with the following:
Office hours: We are open Monday through Thursday and schedule patients from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We are closed for lunch from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM.
Cooperation: Orthodontics is a team effort, so to get that super smile we all want, your cooperation is very important. Brushing your teeth, watching what you eat, wearing your rubber bands, and keeping regular appointments are vital to getting the best result.
Appointments: We are an ON TIME office. Respecting your time is important to us, and our computer-generated schedule allows us to manage appointments efficiently so your waiting time is held to a minimum.
Appointment reminders: Every patient has a choice of receiving email or text message appointment reminders. Eliminating missed appointments helps to keep your progress on schedule.
Patient protection: To ensure each patient's safety, our office follows strict sterilization procedures with all of our instruments, and all treatment surfaces are disinfected after each visit. Disposable plastic barriers are used whenever possible. The sterilizers are tested weekly with spore strips to ensure their proper operation.
Insurance: We will do everything possible to help you understand and make the most of your insurance benefit. Orthodontic benefits normally are a set lifetime amount and do not renew annually. If an insurance benefit is available, we will file on your primary policy and accept payment directly from the insurance company.
Financial options: We accept payment by cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. In order to accommodate each patient's individual financial needs, we offer several different payment plans and our Financial Coordinator is specially trained to guide you in choosing the best option for your needs.
- Option A: Payment in Full—A bookkeeping discount is applied to your treatment fee for payment in full when treatment starts.
- Option B: Office Payment Plan—An initial down payment followed by monthly payments over the treatment length. This is the most popular plan chosen by our patients.
- Option C: No Down Payment Plan—Equal monthly payments provided by companies that specialize in orthodontic patient financing, such as Care Credit.
Flexible Spending Accounts: Many employers in our area offer FSA's, or Flexible Spending Accounts, where you can set aside money annually to pay for healthcare related expenses with pre-tax dollars. You should ask your Human Resources Department at work for details.
